I've bollocksed up the imperial strongpoint piece, await (a long wait) further news on that. So instead, here's the Macharius Vanquisher Finished. Easily my favourite FW tank they produce. Enjoyable painting too.
Awesone looking tank, greta weathering. The mud looks a bit monotone and lacking depth compared to the rest of the tank, however. Might just be the picture...
My apologies, once the mud stuff is dry (tends to take a while as it's quite a noxious mix I've concocted now... I work it into the tracks with one or two other colours. But the update wouldn't have gone up until the next night so I thought I'd get away with it. Clearly I was wrong to at least one eagle-eyed viewer!
Thanks for continued support - I recognise the name :)

Looks good but you need more pictures...
ReplyDeleteTank looks amazing, what colors did you use.
ReplyDeletemechanicum standard grey, then dawnstone, then lights with administratum grey.
DeleteI use burnt umber and black oil paints. They're pretty much the only colours, shockingly.
Thanks for the quick response. The chipping / weathering is done with ? Stormvermin Fur?
DeleteYep :)
