The armour was done with a colour fade technique. I began by airbrushing Caliban green over black undercoat, then airbrushed warpstone glow from the top down over the models shoulder pads, gauntlets and leg armour. Then finally sybarite green with a dab of pallid wych flesh was sprayed onto the very uppermost edges of the armour and gauntlets. I then used the sybarite mix and laid down some very thin highlights on certain areas. (I would add, use the sybarite/wych mix mixed with water if you have used thinner on the other areas otherwise the thinner will dissolve the previous paint.
Looking good, though I would of done the power cables a different colour rather than the same as the armour.
ReplyDeleteTa, yeah think I might go yellow and black on the cables then, was wanting someone to mention them before I did it.
DeleteI am curious to how you did the armor, it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Josh, thank you very much.

Awesome. Thanks, I needed to get back into my DV box set but wasn't that psyched. Those minis just lit a bit of a fire...
ReplyDeleteThank you Zab.
